This Act establishes an authority for the registration of agricultural and veterinary chemicals, and for related purposes. It includes the following provisions regarding to IP:
-Part 2, Sections 7, 8, 8A (label regulations for chemical containers)
-Part 7A, Division 2 (enforcement of IP related issues and false or misleading information)
-Part 7A, Division 3, Sections 6EH-6EK; Division 4, Sections 69ER (copyrights)
-Part 7B (protection of information and data on agricultural and veterinary chemical products when submitting to APVMA -regulatory body that evaluates and approves agricultural and veterinary chemical products prior to their retail sale within Australia)
