Notes:	This text of the Code of Civil Procedure incorporates the amendments since its promulgation in 1902 up to 2007 (Law No. 20217). The notification by Chile to the WTO under Article 63.2 of TRIPS states: 'This Code establishes the procedural rules for the various types of civil action and steps by the judicial authority and by the parties in a procceding. Book III, title XI, refers to the expedited procedure designed to hear and penalize cases and infringements of copyright and related rights.'
