Among the amendments, this Law amends the Article 57, which states the principle of temporary suspension of customs procedures of the Law on Customs 2001, by detailing the suspension period of customs procedures on imported and exported goods that infringe intellectual property rights.

Article 57, paragraph 1.-IP holders whose IP rights are infringed may request, on a long-term basis or on the basis of a particular case to the customs office to suspend temporarily customs procedures
Article 57, paragraph 3.-no request for temporary suspension of customs procedures for non-commercial goods or to goods in transit, which violate IP rights
