This compilation of Australia’s grape product trade law, which was prepared 20 November 2009 by the Office of Legislative Drafting and Publishing, Attorney-General’s Department, Canberra, consolidates the amendments to the Australian Wine and Brandy Corporation Act 1980 (Act No. 161 of 1980) up to the Statute Stocktake (Regulatory and Other Laws) Act 2009 (Act No. 111 of 17 November 2009).

This Act establishes a Corporation to determine the boundaries of and give identifying names to the various wine regions and localities in Australia as well as to determine the varieties of grapes that may be used in the manufacture of wine in Australia.
