Notes:
This Act amends the Liquor product Act (Act No. 60 of 1989), modifies the requirements of wine and extends the particulars relating to the sale of liquor products in containers. It also, inter alia, allows the Minister to prohibit the use of geographical names under certain conditions and make regulations. it provides as well for compliance with international obligations.

Section 13 of this Act stipulates that it takes effect on a date fixed by the President by proclamation in the Gazette.
