Notes
The Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) is the codification of the general and permanent rules published in the Federal Register by the executive departments and agencies of the Federal Government. Each volume of the CFR is updated once each calendar year and is issued on a quarterly basis. The United States Patent and Trademark Office writes the regulations concerning trademarks which are found in Title 37 of the CFR.
The Federal Register Notices are the authoritative source in the event that there are discrepancies between the patent rules in this document and the rules as published in the Federal Register.
