The notification by Australia to the WTO under article 63.2 of TRIPS states:
'Amend the Olympic Insignia Protection Regulations 1993 to provide for regulation of the copyright and licensing provisions associated with the Olympic symbol. The amendments prescribe the information to be included in the Register of Olympic Symbols and the Register of Protected Olympic Expressions and make related technical amendments.'
