Notes
This Decree requires application and the signing of a contract with the State to access any genetic resources for which Bolivia is the country of origin, their derivatives, their associated intangible components, and the genetic resources of migratory species that are naturally found in the national territory.
Use of genetic resources by indigenous peoples and peasant communities for their own consumption and based on customary practices is exempt from this regulation.
