Notes:	WTO Notification draws attention to Section 2 of the Act and states: "Section 2 whilst recognising that intellectual property rights will not be restricted by the provisions of the Maintenance and Promotion of Competition Act, nevertheless, inter alia, prohibits an agreement or arrangement where intellectual property rights are concerned, which will have the effect of increasing or fixing prices."
