Year of Version 2000 Dates Entry into force: October 7, 2009 Adopted: October 7, 2009 Type of Text Implementing Rules/Regulations Subject Matter Enforcement of IP and Related Laws Notes The notification by Turkey to the WTO under article 63.2 of TRIPS states:
'The Regulation enables the customs authorities to enforce the provisions of Article 57 of Law No. 4458 of October 27, 1999 on Customs. It regulates, inter alia, the form of application, action to be taken by the customs authorities prior to and after a suspensive decision, action for goods found infringing.
N.B: Prior to Law No. 4458, amended Article 21 of Law No. 1615 of July 19, 1972 on Customs and inserted Section 7 of the Regulation implementing this law, which provides parallel provisions on suspensive arrangements, except ex officio action, have been in force as from January 1, 1996.'

Bu Yönetmelik 4458 sayılı Gümrük Kanununun
57. maddesinin gümrük yetkilileri tarafından
yürürlüğe konmasını sağlamaktır. Bu Yönetmelik bunları yanı sıra başvuru şeklini, ihlal eden mallar icin askıya alma kararı öncesinde ve sonrasında gümrük idareleri tarafından yapılcak uygulamayı düzenler.4458 sayılı Gümrük Kanunu öncesinde 615 sayılı kanunun 21. maddesi tadil edilmis ve yonetmeligin uygulama hukumlerinin 7. bolumune eklenmis resen harekete gecme durumu haric Ocak 1996 dan itibaren yürürlükte olacak olan bu hukum askı önlemlerine paralellik sağlar.
