Notes
The notification by Lithuania to the WTO under article 63.2 of TRIPS states:
'The Code establishes the basic procedures for civil juridical proceedings as well as the procedure for the reimbursement of losses and material damage on intellectual property right infringements.
The Code contains provisions concerning provisional judicial measures. Article 156 provides that the court may impose the following provisional measures:
1) seizure of property or amounts of money belonging to the defendant that are at her/his or any other person's disposal;
2) prohibition to the defendant to perform certain actions;
3) prohibition to other persons to transfer property to the defendant or to execute any kind of liabilities for the defendant;
4) suspension of property realization upon entering a claim for repealing the seizure of such property;
5) suspension of exaction under the executive document, contested by the debtor in accordance with the procedure for laying actions, if such way of contesting is permitted by law.'
