Year of Version 1996 Dates Entry into force: January 1, 1978 Issued: October 19, 1977 Type of Text Implementing Rules/Regulations Subject Matter Patents (Inventions), Undisclosed Information (Trade Secrets), Plant Variety Protection Notes The notification by Liechtenstein to the WTO under article 63.2 of TRIPS states:
'The Ordinance contains provisions relating to the examination of patent applications, registration, priority rights, supplementary certificates of medicaments, etc.'
Articles 89 and 90 provides for the protection of secrecy in files and the register.'

Date of entry into force:
1. This order comes into force on January 1, 1978, with the exception of Titles seventh, eighth and ninth.
2. The title seventh enters into force on June 1, 1978.
3. The eighth and ninth Titles are effective at the same time as the Title VI of the law (international patent).
