'Article 4 of Law No. 2173/1993 adds a new paragraph 6 to Article 72 of Law No. 2121/1993'.

Article 4 of this Law and paragraph 6 of Article 72 of Law No. 2121/1993 are repealed by Law No. 3524/2007.

2173. Reform of the National Radio & Television Council. Establishment of the National Committee for Electronic Communication Media and other provisions

Article 4

A paragraph marked “6” is added to article 72 of Law 2121/1993 “Copyright, related rights and

cultural matters” as follows: “6. From the time this law is entered into force and until the beginning of operation of one or more collective management organisations that can make decisions concerning donations, the provisions of paragraphs 1 and 2 of article 5 of this law will not be applied in the event that the beholden of paragraph 2 of the same article donate at least part of their fees paid by the retailer, provided that: a) for this donation, the laws applicable each time provides for an exemption from the donation tax, b) the sum of the donation has been deposited in an account opened for this purpose by the recipient of the donation at the Loans and Consignments Fund or at a Bank lawfully operating in Greece, and c) the receipt of the deposit includes: aa) the particulars of the donor and the recipient of the donation, bb) the sum of the donation, cc) the date of deposit and dd) the signature of the recipient of the donation or his lawful representative”.
