Year of Version 2011 Dates Entry into force: May 30, 2004 Adopted: April 21, 2004 Type of Text Implementing Rules/Regulations Subject Matter Patents (Inventions), Industrial Designs, IP Regulatory Body Notes The Rules on Drafting, Filing and Examination of Applications for the Grant of Patents for Industrial Designs were approved by Order No. 22 of April 21, 2004 of the Director of the State Patent Office, which was registered by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan on May 20, 2004 under No. 1361, and entered into force on May 30, 2004, ten days after the date of its registration.

This consolidated version of the Rules on Drafting, Filing and Examination of Applications for the Grant of Patents for Industrial Designs incorporates all the amendments introduced by the following Orders:
- Order No. 11 of January 20, 2009 of the Director of the State Patent Office, which was registered by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan on February 24, 2009 under No. 1361-1, and entered into force on March 6, 2003.
- Order No. 33 of August 26, 2011 of the Director General of the Agency on Intellectual Property of the Republic of Uzbekistan, which was registered by the Ministry of Justice on September 30, 2011 under No. 1361-2, and entered into force on October 10, 2011.
