This consolidated text of Law of Ukraine No. 554/97-VR of October 7, 1997, on Professional Creative Workers and Creative Unions incorporates all the amendments up to Law No. 1666-VIII of October 6, 2016, on the Amendments to Certain Laws of Ukraine regarding the Improvement of the Official Registration of Rights to Immovable Property and Protection of Property Rights ('the Amending Law').
For the amendments introduced by the said Amending Law, see Section I, Article 3, relating to the principles and guidelines for the activities of creative unions.
This consolidated text of the Law on Professional Creative Workers and Creative Unions guarantees copyright protection to members of the creative unions, and manage their economic rights according to the Law of Ukraine on Copyright and Related Rights (see Section I, Articles 3 & 4; Section II, Article 9; and Section IV, Article 21).
