Year of Version 2017 Dates Adopted: December 16, 1854 Type of Text IP-related Laws Subject Matter Copyright and Related Rights (Neighboring Rights), Other, Industrial Property Notes This consolidated text of the Law incorporates all the amendments up to Law No. 24/2015 of July 24, 2015, on Patents, which was published in the Official Gazette on July 25, 2015, and entered into force on April 1, 2017.
The 'First Final Provision' of the said Law on Patents introduces changes to Articles 45 and 46 under Chapter VI, Title II, relating to pledges or mortgages of intellectual property rights.

This consolidated text of the Law contains the following provisions relating to mortgages and pledges over intellectual property rights:
- Title Two, Chapter I, Articles 12, 14; Chapter II, Article 21; and Chapter VI, Articles 45-51;
- Title Fourth, Articles 69 and 76.
