Year of Version 2014 Dates Entry into force: May 1, 2006 Adopted: April 24, 2006 Type of Text Implementing Rules/Regulations Subject Matter Plant Variety Protection, Other Notes Regulation No. 56 of April 24, 2006, was issued by the Minister of Agriculture pursuant to the following provisions of the Plant Propagation and Plant Variety Protection Act (as amended), which refer to fodder plant seeds:
- § 3 paragraph 3;
- § 6^1 paragraph 4;
- § 6^2 paragraph 6;
- § 65 paragraphs 4 and 7;
- § 72 paragraph 5;
- § 73 paragraphs 5 and 7;
- § 74 paragraph 5;
- § 75 paragraphs 2 and 4;
- § 76 paragraph 4;
- § 96 paragraph 2,
- § 101 paragraph 4;
- § 104 paragraph 4;
- § 105 paragraph 5;
- § 117 paragraph 5.

The consolidated text of the Regulation, which is in force from July 1, 2014, incorporates all the amendments up to Regulation No. 40 of the Minister of Agriculture, RT I, 28.06.2014, 18 ('the amending Regulation'), which was passed on June 19, 2014, published in Part I of Riigi Teataja (State Gazette, abbreviated to 'RT I') on June 28, 2014, and came into force on July 1, 2014.

Section 3 of the amending Regulation deletes the words “§ 97 paragraphs 2 and 10” in the Preamble of the consolidated Regulation; and replaced the words “supervisory officer” with 'supervision' in Section 19, third sentence of paragraph 3, and paragraph 4 under Chapter 4, relating to the EU requirements of small packages of seed and feed.
