The notification by Mexico to the WTO under article 63.2 of TRIPS states:
'The Marrakesh Treaty was adopted on June 27, 2013 in Marrakesh, Morocco, and forms part of the body of international copyright agreements administered by the World Intellectual Property Organization. Its main objective is to establish a set of mandatory limitations and exceptions for the benefit of persons who are blind, visually impaired, or otherwise print disabled.'
