Year of Version 1996 Dates Entry into force: September 26, 1880 Adopted: September 3, 1880 Type of Text Implementing Rules/Regulations Subject Matter Copyright and Related Rights (Neighboring Rights), IP Regulatory Body Notes This consolidated text of the Regulation takes into account amendments up to the consolidated text of the Law on Intellectual Property, approved by Royal Legislative Decree No. 1/1996 of April 12, 1996, which was published on April 22, 1996.

This consolidated Regulation continues in force as long as it is not contrary to the provisions of the consolidated text of the Law on Intellectual Property, as established by the Seventh Transitional Provision of the said Law.

According to the Single Derogatory Provision of the said Law, the provisions of Chapters V and VI under Title I of the Regulation are repealed and the remaining provisions thereof continue in force.
