Notes:
The notification by Mexico to the WTO under Article 63.2 of TRIPS states:
'[The Decree provides] for amendments relating to trade-related infringements to include the following acts, where performed for the purpose of direct or indirect financial gain: the fixation, production, reproduction, storage, distribution, transport or marketing of copies of works, cinematographic and other audiovisual works, phonograms, videograms or books protected by copyright or related rights without the authorization of the respective owners, within the meaning of the Law.'

The Single Transitional Provision of the Decree states that the Decree comes into force on the day following its publication in the Official Gazette.
The Decree was published in the Official Gazette on January 13, 2016, and came into force on January 14, 2016.
