'This Decree introduces an opposition procedure for trademarks.
The Decree makes amendments to Articles 6o, section X, second paragraph; 7 bis, section I; 8o; 119; 120; 123; and 181, third paragraph, of the Industrial Property Law; and addition of a third paragraph to Article 125 thereof.'

The Single Transitional Provision of the Decree states that the Decree comes into force 90 calendar days after its publication in the Official Gazette.
The Decree was published in the Official Gazette on June 1, 2016, and came into force on August 20, 2016.
