Year of Version 2016 Dates Adopted: May 5, 1936 Type of Text Main IP Laws Subject Matter Patents (Inventions), Utility Models, Plant Variety Protection, Enforcement of IP and Related Laws, IP Regulatory Body Notes This consolidated version of the Utility Models Act takes into account amendments up to Article 8, paragraph 5 of the Act of December 3, 2015 (Act on the Reorganization of the Customs Administration), which entered into force on January 1, 2016.
For the amendments introduced by Article 8, paragraph 5 of the said Act, see Article 25a, paragraph 6 of the consolidated version, where the wording 'General Directorate of Customs' is added.
