This version of the Trade Marks Amendment Act 2011 includes all the amendments to the Act up to 29 April 2013 (see: Part 5 of the 'Notes' section to this Act).
This Act makes amendments to sections 5(1), 31, 53, 66, 67, 78, 81, 82, 83 to 87, 95, 96, 97, 97A, 118, 134, 135, 136, 139, 155, 175, 182, 199 to the Trade Marks Act 2002 (see: sections 4-27 of the Trade Marks Amendment Act 2011 ).

Section 2 of this Act stipulates: 'Sections 3, 4 to 10, 12 to 17, 19 to 22, and 24 to 29 come into force on the day after the date on which this Act receives the Royal assent.
(2) The rest of this Act comes into force on a date to be appointed by the Governor-General by Order in Council; and 1 or more Orders in Council may be made appointing different dates for different provisions and different purposes.'
