Article 1 states that these regulations are intended to ensure the proper implementation of the Law of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea on Wholly-Owned Enterprises.
Articles 14 and 18 state, inter alia, that a foreign investor who wishes to set up an enterprise shall submit the application for its establishment with the clear descriptions on industrial property rights and technical know-how.
Articles 32, 33 and 34 state that investor can invest in cash, industrial property right, technical know-how and that the investment in industrial property right and technical know-how shall not exceed the amount equivalent to 2% of the registered capital.
