Notes:
The Trade Marks regulations is issued in 1995, (under GN R578 of April 21, 1995 as amended by GN R1180 of December 1, 2006), pursuant to Sections 8, 11, 23, 43, 66 & 69 of the Trade Marks Act 194 of 1993.
Section 4 of the Regulations is issued pursuant to Sections 11 and 69(2) of the Trade Marks Act 1993, relating to the classification of goods and services in accordance with the International Classification of Goods and Services (Nice Classification) and its subsequent amendments.

Schedule 3 (established under Section 4) provides a list of classes of goods and services of the 7th Edition of the International Classification of Goods and Services.
