Year of Version 2012 Dates Entry into force: July 18, 2001 Published: July 7, 2001 Adopted: June 29, 2001 Type of Text Main IP Laws   Subject Matter Layout Designs of Integrated Circuits Subject Matter (secondary) IP Regulatory Body, Enforcement of IP and Related Laws Notes This consolidated version of the Law incorporates amendments up to Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan Law No. 537-IV of January 12, 2012, which came into force on January 31, 2012 (see Articles 4, 11, 15, 15-1 and 15-2 of the consolidated version for the amendments).

The consolidated Law regulates economic and moral rights and relations that arise in connection with creation, legal protection and use of layout design of integrated microcircuits.
