Year of Version 2012 Dates Issued: October 23, 2012 Type of Text Implementing Rules/Regulations Subject Matter Trademarks, IP Regulatory Body Notes The portal allows the electronic filing of trademark applications, oppositions, renewals and responses to Office actions. It will not replace the current paper filing system, with which it will coexist.

Article 2 of the Civil Code stipulates: “Laws shall not be binding until after their publication, and as of the stated day. If no day is stated, they shall become binding eight days after their publication.”
This Resolution was published in the Official Gazette on October 23, 2012 (B.O. 23/10/12), with no specific date of entry into force; based on Article 2 of the Civil Code it entered into force eight days after its publication.
