Year of Version 2012 Dates Entry into force: January 7, 2013 Issued: December 26, 2012 Type of Text Implementing Rules/Regulations Subject Matter Patents (Inventions), Utility Models, Industrial Designs, Trademarks, Transfer of Technology, IP Regulatory Body Notes This Resolution was issued by the Ministry of Industry pursuant to Sections(a) & (d) of the Law on Patents and Utility Models. It introduces a major increase in the official fees for filing trademarks, designs and patents.

According to Articles 1 and 2 of the INPI Resolution No. P-365 of December 28, 2012, Fixing the Effective Dates of the Fee Changes specified in the Resolution No. 482/2012 , the first fee increase as from January 2013 shall take effect on January 7, 2013, and the second fees increase as from July 2013 shall take effect on July 1, 2013.

This Resolution took effect on the effective date of the first fees increase, which is January 7, 2013.
