The notification by Switzerland to the WTO under Article 63.2 of TRIPS states:
'This Law governs the activities of the Federal authorities competent as regards opposition procedures and the lodging, registration and renewal (with the Federal Institute for Intellectual Property) of trademarks, patents, industrial designs and models and topographies of integrated circuits. The Law also applies to proceedings relating to intellectual property before the Federal Committee.'
