The Federal Code of Criminal Procedure provides the regulation of Federal criminal procedures in Mexico.
Some of the IP relevant provisions are:
Article 194 . 'The following are classified as felonies for all legal purposes, since they significantly affect society’s fundamental values:
I. From the Federal Criminal Code, the following offenses:
...
7) Piracy, under Articles 146 and 147;
...
34) In Copyright matters, as provided under Article 424 Bis.;

VII. From the Industrial Property Law, the offenses as provided under Article 223, Sections II and III.

The punishable attempt of any of the abovementioned criminal offences shall also be considered felonies.'
