Globalpat (WIPO-EPO): contains bibliographic data (first page data base) of the majority of English-language patent applications published worldwide since 1971. The information is classified according to the IPC which makes it very useful for accessing specific fields of technology

PATENTSCOPE: a free WIPO search service, which is made up of two databases, each with its own search interface: the International Applications search, and the National Collections search, available for testing as of Fall 2009.
