L'ensemble des territoires de la Belgique, du Luxembourg et du Royaume des Pays-Bas en Europe doit être considéré comme un seul pays pour l'application des dispositions de l'Arrangement de Madrid à compter du 1er janvier 1971.

Nice Act (1957): Pursuant to Article 3bis of the said Act, the Government of the Netherlands declared that the protection resulting from the international registration shall extend to the Netherlands only at the express request of the proprietor of the mark. Date of effect: December 15, 1966.

L'instrument de ratification de l'Acte de Stockholm (1967) a été déposé pour le Royaume en Europe.Application of the Nice Act (1957) to Aruba: February 14, 1986; Entry into force: September 8, 1986. This application was suspended for an indefinite period as from the date of entry into force in a communication dated June 24, 1988.
The Netherlands denounced the Madrid Agreement (Marks) for Suriname in a note dated April 21, 1958, with effect from April 21, 1959.
Accession to the London Act (1934) included Suriname and Curaçao.
