Additional Information
Application to the Brussels Act (1948) by France: October 23, 1951; Entry into force: May 22, 1952. Deposit on October 16, 1972, of an instrument of accession to the Stockholm Act. In accordance with Article 29 of the latter, Mauritania was bound, as of February 6, 1973, by Articles 1 to 20 of the Brussels Act until the entry into force on September 21, 1976, of its accession on June 17, 1976, to the Paris Act (1971).

Declarations, Reservations etc.
Accession to the Stockholm Act (1967) was accompanied by a declaration in which Mauritania availed itself, for a period of ten years in the first instance, of the reservations provided in Article 1 of the Protocol Regarding Developing Countries.
