Accession by Saint Vincent and the Grenadines

The Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) presents his compliments to the Minister for Foreign Affairs and has the honor to notify him of the deposit by the Government of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, on May 6, 2002, of its instrument of accession to the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT), done at Washington on June  19, 1970, amended on September 28, 1979, modified on February 3, 1984, and on October 3, 2001.

The said instrument of accession contains the declaration that, pursuant to Article 64(5) of the said Treaty, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines does not consider itself bound by Article 59 of the said Treaty.

The said Treaty will enter into force, with respect to Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, on August 6, 2002.
