Commenting Process (December 2009 to May 2010)

The draft Provisions on the Protection of TCE/EoF and the draft Provisions on the Protection of TK as well as the revised list of options on genetic resources, which have been developed by the Intergovernmental Committee (IGC), have been the subject of extensive public consultations with all concerned stakeholders, including especially indigenous and local communities. 

In accordance to the 2010-2011 mandate of the IGC and the decision made at its fifteenth session, all participants were invited to comment on the revised draft provisions as well as the revised list of options, which included proposed amendments and comments made on and questions posed at that session.  All comments received during this intersessional commenting process are posted below (in PDF format) in the form received.
