Support efforts of Tunisia to develop the professional human capital needed for an efficient knowledge creation and transfer between academia and industry partners, and that each institution would need to establish a legal and organizational infrastructure for knowledge transfer and, in that context, in 2014 preparatory work on the definition of IP Institutional Policies for the above mentioned organizations began. Preparatory work has been followed up in 2015 by training and video conferences. The work and Institutional IP Policies should be completed by the end of 2015.
The next step and the subject of this Workshop is the organization of an IP commercialization capacity building program for beneficiary institutions. We agreed with the National Institute for Standardization and Industrial Property (INNORPI), Ministry of Industry and Technology of Tunisia, that the STL course would take place in Tunis. |
