As you are aware, the work plan for 2014 of the Hague Registry envisages the holding of a fourth session of the Working Group on the Legal Development of the Hague System for the International Registration of Industrial Designs. In this respect, it is recalled that the Geneva (1999) Act entered into operation on April 1, 2004. It is proposed that the dates of the fourth session of the Working Group be April 7 to 9, 2014. These dates are being proposed to take into consideration the possible organization of an exhibition of Hague registered designs on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the coming into effect of the Geneva Act and that, furthermore, the program of the users’ seminar that usually takes place in tandem with the Working Group meeting exceptionally feature the participation of speakers from some of the countries whose accession is foreseen. |
