The series of Roving Seminars on the Hague system that were launched in 2011, will continue to help the private sector to become aware of the existence of the Hague system and of its advantages. Last year, the Seminars that were held in two cities (Shenyang City, Liaoning Province and Wu Han City, Hubei Province) were very successful and, thanks to them and to the joined action of SIPO and of the International Designs Registry, the discussions towards China’s accession to the Hague system were fruitful. These Roving Seminars would not only give the opportunity to other industries, regional IP Offices and also to local chambers of commerce to become acquainted to the Hague system but also help to promote the progress of accession by China to the Hague Agreement. |
