In line with the Academy’s distance learning teaching methodology, tutors and head tutors will carry out their specific teaching functions intended at assisting the learners to achieve the specific learning objects stated in each module. In addition to the regular tutorial functions, head tutors play an active role in standardizing and the marking of examinations (see attached Terms of Reference of Tutors and Head Tutors).
Based on the WIPO Academy’s approved list of tutors, tutors will be selected to teach on-line participants of the WIPO Academy Advanced Course on Intellectual Property Management (DL-450).
Following the WIPO Academy fee structure, the regular Tutors/Head Tutors for the Advanced Courses receive an honorarium of 2,500 USD and 500 USD for the special learning assignments during the course. |
