| Description: |
Following consultations held with Ms Helen Dawson, Assistant Director, International Policy and Cooperation Section, IP Australia in the context of the Australian Funds-in-Trust Annual Workplan June 2012 to May 2013 , it is proposed that a Sub-Regional Seminar on the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) be held at the offices of the South African Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC) in Pretoria, South Africa. The seminar falls under Priority Theme A2, whose aim is “… to assist least developed countries and certain developing countries to accede to and implement WIPO treaties such as the Protocol relating to the Madrid Agreement Concerning the International Registration of Marks and the Patent Cooperation Treaty”. |
