Sri Lanka had requested (during consultations in July 2012 in Colombo and at WIPO during visit by Mr. Fernando, Director General of Commerce, in September 2012), that WIPO organizes information sessions dedicated to Lisbon and Madrid systems, to take place preferably before the end of the year, in Colombo, to advise all parties involved (government, attorneys, producers, etc.) on the two systems.
