The objective of attending the meeting is to report on the results achieved in the IP Valuation training, which WIPO organized and customized for the members of the “TTO Circle” on June 28 and 29, 2012 in Geneva. A specific topic related to this issue is included in the program of the meeting (on October 18, 2012 in the afternoon, see enclosed program).
The invitation was also extended to the parallel discussions with Mr. Giancarlo Caratti, Head of Unit for Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer, Joint Research Center, about the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between WIPO and JRC. The initial discussion was held in Geneva, on the occasion of the IP Valuation course in June 2012. The first draft of MOU was prepared by WIPO and sent for their consideration and comments on July 27, 2012. |
