Reference is the request by the National IP Office of Viet Nam (NOIP), regarding a study visit to WIPO Headquarters in Geneva and to an national IP office to hold discussion on the accession to the Hague Agreement (Geneva Act) and to learn about the processing of international deposits of designs under the Hague System.
The objectives of this activity are to: (i) discuss the required preparations and arrangements in the pre-accession to the Hague Agreement (Geneva Act); (ii) enhance the knowledge of the officials on the operations of the Hague System; and (iii) provide an opportunity to learn from AGEPI which has similar design legislation and examination system with NOIP in implementing the Hague Agreement.
