Official Mission to the WIPO Brazil Office |

The WIPO Office in Brazil (WOB) counts with four officials: one Regional Director, a Deputy Director, a Consultant and an Intern. Today, the Office has the task of managing the Funds-in-Trust Brazil established in WIPO in addition to the design and implementation of other activites to promote the use of the IP system in Brazil and in other developing countries with which Brazil has cooperation. The newly structured Round the Clock Call Centre started to be operational, with the participation of WOB as per May 16, 2012. Soon, the Brazilian Government will forward a new Funds in Trust dedicated to the funding of projects based on South South Cooperation. This second FIT-Brazil will also be managed from the WOB. |
