Member states have indicated their desire for WIPO to become more actively involved in the international betterment of collective management through Development Agenda projects. In any event, WIPO is perhaps the only independent international organization with the requisite gravitas and respect to ensure the success of any international collective management standard.
In order to promote the Project, it is proposed that WIPO’s Consultant on the Project,
Mr Willem Wanrooij undertakes one three-day mission to Geneva during the forthcoming SCCR, in the following dates: from July 22 to 24, 2012.
It is further proposed that during such mission, Mr. Wanrooij meet:
(a)The representatives of Member States;
(b)The representative of NGOs. |
