With reference to program 2 of the WIPO 2012/13 Program and Budget (Pub. 360/PB1213, page 31), the proposed work plan for Program 2 for 2012, as well as the outcome of the twenty-sixth session of the Standing Committee on the Law of Trademarks, Industrial Designs and Geographical Indications (SCT), I would like to propose the holding of the twenty-seventh session of the SCT from September 18 to 21, 2012, back to back with a one day information meeting on the role and responsibility of Internet Intermediaries in the field of trademarks on September 17, 2012 (see the summary by the Chair of SCT/26, paragraph 10 of document SCT/26/8, of which a copy is attached).
