In a letter (attached) addressed to the Director General, H.E. Mr. Minelik Alemu Getahun, Ambassador, Permanent Representaive, Permanent Mission of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia to the United Nations Office in Geneva requested WIPO’s assistance in facilitating the training of selected Ethiopian Women Entreprenneurs at the WIPO Headquarters. He also proposed that during their training program in Geneva, the women could use the opportunity to exhibit their products/work at the gallery of the new WIPO building, on May 30, 2012, on the occasion of the celebration of the Ethiopian National Day.
