The Meeting would aim to bring together the members of the expert working group on Public Health and IP that will develop the module of the Framework on Designing National IP Strategies for Development. The group members would discuss and agree a common understanding of the issues to be addressed by the group, their approach to following the line of enquiry suggested by the matrix and their working methods (drafting, responsibility for research and enquiry,
consultations with private sector and external advisors).
The meeting will also serve to allow the expert group members to discuss preliminary prepared materials assigned in advance by the Group Leader, and develop a group approach to the substantive issues related to public health and IP. |
