DEVELOPMENT OF A NATIONAL INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY STRATEGY (NIPS) |
| Description: |
Phase three of NIPS for Papua New Guinea (PNG) to be undertaken from March 8 to 11, 2011. During this mission, Mr. Kevin Croft, international expert for the NIPS exercise in PNG, will join Mr. Guicciardini to complete this phase in the country, illustrating the draft national IP strategy document to government officials and relevant stakeholders. Based on the outcomes of this mission, the international expert will consolidate the draft strategy document and will submit it to WIPO for its final review within one week from the accomplishment of the mission. Thereafter, the draft strategy paper will be officially forwarded to IP-PNG for its consideration and action, namely the adoption of a national IP strategy. |
