| Description: |
A European Community funded Trade Related Assistance Program (TRTA-II) for Pakistan is under preparation. The lead implementing agency of the Program is UNIDO, while ITC and WIPO have been invited to formulate, and eventually implement as sub-contractors, the trade and intellectual property components of the Program respectively.
WIPO has formulated the IP component of the Program which has been incorporated in a draft Inception Report. The Report is to be considered by a stakeholder’s Workshop to be held on September 28, 2010 and by the Project Steering Committee meeting on September 30, 2010 both of which are to be held in Islamabad, Pakistan. WIPO has been requested to make presentations on the IP component of the Inception Report at the Workshop and the PSC meeting.
